Treatments
Does Acupuncture hurt?
Does acupuncture hurt? Of course not! No pain, no gain is an old adage that
doesn’t ring true for Chinese Medicine. Your body gets the most benefit from
relaxing during a treatment and if it hurt, what would be the point? It is very
normal to feel some slight sensations and more often than not, people don’t feel
anything at all. The needles we use are extremely fine. They are also sterile
and disposed of after one use.
What to expect from a treatment
Expect that acute conditions can have fast results and often a client will leave
the clinic feeling a whole lot better than when they arrived.
Chronic conditions will take time but a treatment works on the entire body so
you should feel an all over rejuvenation.
You should also feel relaxed and have a good understanding of what is expected
in future treatments and with your treatment plan.
Services
An initial consultation takes approximately 90 minutes and follow up
consultations will take between 45 to 60 minutes. Consultations for children
should take 30-45 minutes for follow up appointments.
